- Naomi SWe were on our way from Vancouver to the interior for the weekend and stopped in Hope for an early family dinner. There wasn't much open so we were just driving around when we found this place, and OMG - what a find! Simple basic menu of comfort foods, clean, welcoming decor that manages to bridge 80s chintz with clean simplicity. And on the counter a mouth watering selection of cakes that'd do any cake shop in Vancouver proud. Service was quick and friendly and we went with a plain waffle and syrup for our son (one tough customer, food wise) chicken tenders with fries for our daughter, seafood linguine for my husband and a beef stir fry on rice for me. We got our food and I think we took one bite each before we started exclaiming over how good it was. Even the simple romaine side salad was delicious, and I am NOT a salad person, but I ate all the side salads! - Esther OGreat service and food. My husband had the ham and shrimp fried rice and I had chicken strips with salad. They have really good homemade salad dressing and are generous with their portions.
